North Bay Village

With an area of just over one square mile and a population just over 8,000, North Bay Village has a dense, urban feel. Demographically, the population is diverse but predominantly Hispanic, with many residents of Cuban, Colombian, Venezuelan and other Latin American descent. The city is also home to a growing LGBTQ community. Most residents are renters living in mid-rise and high-rise apartment buildings.
North Bay Village has a young median age and relatively lower median income compared to nearby cities like Miami Beach. Its residents work in services and tourism in nearby Miami but enjoy the relatively affordable housing and bay views that North Bay Village provides.
