The MiMo District of Miami, also known as the Upper East Side, is known for its unique mid-century modern architectural style. The neighborhood emerged in the postwar boom of the 1950s and is lined with iconic motels and other unique buildings exhibiting tropical influences on the national modernist movement. Today, the district is a vibrant residential and cultural hub that has attracted creative professionals and young families with its walkable streets and proximity to schools.
The district is comprised of Belle Meade, Morningside and Bay Point; all highly coveted residential neighborhoods on the bay.
To the south, Edgewater is one of Miami's newest high density neighborhoods. In the last 15 years, high-end condo towers and developments have sprung up to take advantage of the incredible Biscayne Bay views and proximity to Miami's burgeoning cultural scene in Wynwood, and both the Arts and Design Districts.
