Wynwood

Bodegas turned galleries and sneaker shops

Wynwood has more lives than a cat, starting as farmland at the turn of the 20th century, then industrial zone hosting the first Coca Cola bottling plant in the city and then becoming a productive garment district in the 50’s. What was an urban industrial area full of warehouses sprinkled with car shops and cement factories has evolved into a dynamic entertainment district exploding with retail and hospitality offerings. Today, Wynwood has the highest concentration of art galleries, restaurants and bars in Miami… as well as smoke shops and tattoo parlors.
